WHO THE FUCK IS ZXOE?
CURRENT

STATE OF EMERGENCY
Upcoming single — September 22, 2026
State of Emergency is in the moment when pressure turns into complete emotional overload. Heavy guitars, frantic electronics, and an increasingly desperate vocal build into a track that feels less like describing a breakdown and more like being trapped inside one.

R.I.P AMERICAN DREAM
CURRENT SINGLE
A loud, bitter eulogy for the future you were told to work toward. R.I.P. American Dream pairs distorted guitars, layered synths, and punk urgency with the creeping realization that the dream might have been a fantasy all along.
WHO THE FUCK IS ZXOE?
Hey, it’s ZXOE. I’m a DIY artist based in Southern California making punk-infused modern electronic rock. Some of my biggest influences have been Green Day, Bring Me the Horizon, and Zoé.
I was born in Mexico City and spent my childhood there before growing up in Southern California from my teens on. I started playing violin at six where I studied music theory, history, and performance at music school. By high school, I was playing in local bands with kids from school, people I met through music, and pretty much anyone who would let me onstage.
Then adulthood wrapped its claws around me. I started hearing all the usual shit: get serious, be realistic, figure out what you’re going to do with your life. So I tried. Music slipped further into the background, and somewhere in the process of becoming the kind of adult I thought I was supposed to be, I lost my way. Turns out, doing everything you’re “supposed” to do doesn’t mean you’ll end up anywhere you actually want to be. Eventually, I stopped trying to convince myself that I could live without the thing that made me feel most alive and threw myself back into music full force.
A lot of what I make now comes from that disillusionment—the moment when the version of the world you grew up believing in starts colliding with what it actually feels like to live in it, and you start questioning how much of what you were taught to want was ever yours in the first place. ZXOE is where that perspective meets everything I’ve learned as a musician: punk instincts, electronic textures, big melodies, and a completely DIY approach to building the world around the songs. I’m still figuring shit out. I just stopped pretending I’m okay with the answers I was given.
Under previous artist projects, I’ve performed at House of Blues San Diego, opened for Doyle at the Whisky a Go Go, and accumulated more than 150,000 combined streams. Now I’m building ZXOE from the ground up, on my own terms. R.I.P. American Dream is my latest release, with State of Emergency arriving September 22.
